Operation and use:

Select the correct calibration curve (depending on the density of the leather) and press the instrument against a stack of hides of at least 10 mm. The display will immediately show the water content and temperature of the sample. The measuring procedure does not damage the surface of the leather. By taking a few measurements at different points on the leather, the average water content can be quickly determined.

Benefit from the non-destructive measuring method and optimize drying costs and maintenance hours by recognizing changes in humidity or extreme wet spots over time. Thanks to the integrated data log, measurement values can be saved and additional information can be added, such as the batch number. An optional USB interface is available for transferring measurement data to the PC. With the included LogMemorizer software, measurement values can be archived, edited, exported and printed.
